On Saturday, March 7, to mark International Women's Rights Day on March 8, we organized a solidarity work morning at our Maison Passerelle, in partnership with Gozem.
This effort marks an important new step in redeveloping this space, which is intended to welcome women in the final phase of their reintegration and support them toward a new independence.

Throughout the day, the mobilized teams worked on clearing, cleaning, and restoring spaces that had sat unused and abandoned for several years. This was an essential step in preparing the gradual opening of the house and making it a welcoming, secure environment suited to the needs of the women it will support.

This project was made possible thanks to the commitment of several partners. Africa-Dem provided support in clearing bulky items and moving large furniture down from the third floor. We also thank the Société de Gestion des Déchets for their help collecting, sorting, and disposing of waste.

This day illustrates the importance of coming together around meaningful social projects. Thanks to the involvement of partners, volunteers, and dedicated teams, La Maison Passerelle is gradually taking shape to become a place of welcome, recovery, and support toward a fresh start for the women who will live there.
